Digesting the 30th Climate COP in Belém

The 30th Climate COP has come to a close. The Zurich Carbon Market Association is happy to invite you to its annual “Digesting the COP” event. We will discuss the outcomes of the 30th UNCCC COP in Belém, Brazil, with a particular focus on Article 6. The event will be followed by a networking aperitif.

Date: Thursday, 11 December 2025, 5pm-7pm CET, followed by an aperitif

Negotiators and observers will present their first-hand impressions and analysis of the progress made. Inputs will be provided by:
  • Axel Michaelowa (Perspectives): general overview of the key outcomes
  • Simon Fellermeyer (FOEN): insights from the negotiations and developments around Art. 6.4
  • Margaret Kim (Gold Standard): The Belém outcomes and their implications for the future development of high-integrity VCM standards
  • Anna Citterio (Ecosecurities): The project developer’s perspective on the Belém outcome

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussions with the speakers, with ample opportunity for questions and comments from the audience.
